Mayday picture of the (May) Day
May. 6th, 2007 06:38 pmThis just in! We had a grand time at the 33rd Annual Mayday Parade down Bloomington Avenue. The weather was supposed to be rotten, and at noon it looked bad: Windy and cold. But by 1pm, the official start time of the parade, the wind died down and it got warm! The parade was terrific and the threat of bad weather scared away at least half the people who normally come to the event. Later in the afternoon, more people showed up at the picnic. But that's a different story.
I haven't had time to look at, much less name and crop, all the pictures I took, but I did get to this one.
davidschroth was one of the parade volunteers, collecting money along the side of the street. He came very close, and I had a great picture in my viewfinder... and he kept moving...

Terrific picture of
