"Repent Harlan," Said the Ticktockman
Apr. 15th, 2006 01:57 amFor Minicon 41 Guest of Honor Harlan Ellison, I wrote a short play Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Ellison. We rehearsed it.
skylarker,
ericcoleman, Brian W. and myself. Harlan didn't want to read the part I'd written for him. But that was okay. At Opening Ceremonies, Harlan was having a ball, and didn't stop talking until after our scheduled end time. But that was okay. Harlan was apologetic when he realized he used up the time; almost worth it for that alone. Harlan is a great guest. Opening Ceremonies was an amazing amount of fun. Someday I'll print the questions I asked (and why I asked them), and I have the whole thing on tape. But in the meantime, here is the chunk I'd written for Harlan.
