Last week, I had arranged for Brian to engineer Shockwave while I was at Convergence. The scheduling decision had come down after I had planned the show. So this week is the first Saturday I haven't had to think about doing Shockwave Radio Theater at all. Further, the kfai.org website archives shows for two weeks, so in a few hours there will be no Shockwave available to the station for a while.

A bit of an odd sensation, as the show breaks up the afternoon oddly, and I usually spend the morning gathering material and working out a theme and writing intros. I should really be doing a podcast (or podcasting a show or dipping into the archives), but I want to take a little rest. Ah well.

Thanks to everyone at Convergence who mentioned the pictures I've been posting on LJ. Egoboo is always appreciated, and few pictures generate comment. Ah, feedback... I've always been an intermittent apahack and I'm glad the technology exists for me to minac.

So allow me an Arty Shot. This is a self-portrait. Me in Connie's Lounge at Convergence, illuminated solely by black light, in the mirror without a flash. It was cool, in a 50s-Beat-w/60s-Technology-and-90s-Rave sort of way. Convergence gallery is imminent.

Hmm... more tribble shots than I thought, with more to come. Convergence Guest of Honor Lois McMaster Bujold visits the Bridge and is charmed by one creature in particular.
