MN-StF has the same problem that I see in Michigan fandom: The folks on the boards are all 30+, and approaching 50+. Fandom should be run by 20-somethings, dammit, not a bunch of old fogies who never got a life. And I say that as a 40-something member of the board. Some 20-something needs to oust me! IMO.

Two of the five are young enough to be my children. If that's not under 30 I don't know what is! (And we're delighted to have the young'uns. All hail the new blood!)

Holy cow! It's that sensational new bluegrass group. Bodacious and the Toads! Can I get an autographed copy of this photo?

on this board, one member is... um, 28? and has been a board member for several years, and the two new members are both in their thirties.

i'm not saying you're not right on your premise, just please have some numbers.

(me, i'm 36 and have been involved in fandom in various ways for twenty years, which makes me feel all old and creaky. but i've never been on the board before.)

Yup, Betsy's right, I'm 28. I'm afraid that I've only got 2 more years of being a 20-something, but I'm trying to get all of the fandom-running I can in in that time!
