Al Gore on SNL

barondaveAl Gore's opening on Saturday Night Live last night (5/13/06) was brilliant. Maybe not Stephen Colbert brilliant, but still pretty good. He was also good in a short Weekend Update segment.
The rest of SNL ranged from bad to terrible, and not even two good Paul Simon songs could rescue the show. But it's nice to see Al still out there swinging.
Gore's documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, has been bumped up the "must see" ladder.
