I tend to learn things by bugging people who know more than I do, and this can take a while. I started archiving shows using ourmedia.org last year, and it didn't work very well, but four shows made it up. Lately, thanks to fellow Fresh Air Radio DJ Ron Gerber of Crap From The Past, I've finally mastered uploading shows to archive.org (for certain values of "master").

Several Shockwave Radio Theater programs are available in several formats, listed on the David E Romm Bookmark page. Aside from the few mp3 files from last year, all the files started out as .aif and the archive.org software did the rest. Click on a show to see all the formats. Either stream will work well on your computer, the VBR (Variable Bit Rate) is probably best if you want to load it into your iPod, and the Ogg Vorbis is an open source standard and .m3u is apparently for Windows Media, or somesuch.

Bookmark the bookmark page: More shows will be added, and I'll slowly take down mp3 files from my site while adding Shockwave Radio Podcasts with pictures and urls and such.

As always, corrections are encouraged and please tell me if something doesn't work. If you like a show, please leave a comment on the archive.org page!

I forgot to mention...

Your podcast feed is working great now! But you might have to change your tagline. If they're not listening now, turning on their radios might not help.
