No Jury Duty tomorrow

Well, I called the Hennepin County Jury Office number, and "no further jurors are required" as of the 6:30pm update. I'll have to call twice a day for two weeks, but it seems no one wants to start litigating right in that special Channukah-Boxing Day time.

So... off to Trivia, knowing that I have to be at work bright and early tomorrow (I called work, too, so they know).

Lucky you. You get to do your duty without all the sitting around on uncomfortable chairs with loads of unhappy strangers filling out endless pages of questionnaires. I've been called three times so far. The worst day was the one where I was in the pool for the Mall of America stabbing jury. There was like a hundred pages to fill out and the defendant stared deeply at each of us in turn all day long. I am so grateful that I didn't have to sit on that jury.
