2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz

Like most people on my flist who've posted, there's a huge drop between any of the Democrats and any of the Republicans. Most Americans feel this way, I suspect. On the top side, the surprise is how high Chris Dodd is. The quiz is only factoring in these positions, I guess, not overall appeal. On the bottom side, the surprise is how high Giuliani is. The quiz doesn't factor in for sleazeballs, I guess.

I took it and _all_ candidates came within 9 percentage points of each other. Just too middle of the road for my own good I guess.

I think that Guiliani ranks so high among Democrats because he's pro-choice.

And because there was no "Would you be willing to vote for a weasel?" question.

If there had been a question about candidates liking opera, Rudy would have been higher on my results. See, I can find something nice to say about him. And I thought Huckabee was delightful and engaging when appearing on "The Daily Show." I just wouldn't vote for either of these guys (or any others of their party) for president.
