KFAI-FM named Best Radio Station... again
Apr. 26th, 2006 11:09 amCity Pages names KFAI-FM Best Radio Station for the sixth year in a row. I'm proud to be a programmer on a terrific station. Also, they let me get away with doing almost anything except say Naughty Words.
It's obvious that large private music collections power KFAI, including those of Hmong, South Asian, and African tastemakers.
...and filk. Thanks to everyone who sends me weird music to play on the air.
Pledge Rap Fresh Air Radio is non-commercial and community-sponsored. We couldn't exist without the support of our listeners, even the people who listen to the Shockwave Radio Theater archives and podcasts. Pledge your support today! (Mention Shockwave as the show you're pledging to!)

BEST CD STORE (NEW)
The Electric Fetus
...it is the place to linger for an hour or two checking out the state's best selection of non-classical music.
So I presume City Pages is no more classical-friendly than it was twenty years ago.
