During 2000 campaign, Bush would sing National Anthem in Spanish

In a futile attempt to court the Hispanic vote during the 2000 presidential campaign, candidate George W. Bush would occasionally sing the National Anthem in Spanish.

Viva Bush, y'all. He's flip-flopped on another position. Or maybe he just forgot. Or maybe he thinks Republicans are too stupid to remember. Pick one.

Once again we see that Bush's first inclination is always to run away and his second inclination is always to lie about it.

I hope somebody comes up with a sound file of him singing it. Then that should be posted somewhere on the Web; I imagine it would take off virally.
