I don't do "memes" as in "internet/blog quiz thingies", but I do like to spread ideas around. Here is a List of Web Memes, undoubtedly incomplete, in convenient columnar format, with links. Worth a look.

forgive the perhaps ignorant question... but other than naming the website "Webmemes" what classifies those ideas as memes?

Only a few of these are true memes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meme), you're right about that. It's almost a blog. Still, it's a link to a bunch of interesting stories, many of which I hadn't seen and most of which deserve to be spread to a wider audience. And I was impressed that it was a "meme" without a quiz.
