Encourage Karen Johnson

Just had a nice visit from Karen Johnson, erstwhile MN-STFer. The ostensible reason for her visit was to pick up computer stuff. My place has a little bit more room now...

She reads LJ, but hasn't dipped her toes in the water yet. She may not post as frequently as some, but she'll be a fine addition to our community. She needs encouragement and suggestions for a username. I suggested "lauderdalekaren".

Everyone say hello to Karen! Suggest a username!

Which Karen Johnson is this? Karen Johnson the Minn-Stf member, Karen Johnson who once lived in the same building that Karen Johnson the Minn-Stf member lived in, or Karen Johnson who was once married to fredcritter? Or a different Karen Johnson entirely?

I'm assuming it's the first Karen Johnson mentioned above, and as I vaguely recall some people (not me) used to call her "slippery Karen" for reasons I can't recall. So there's a possible username.

(And yes, I just checked the cast list for "Blazing Saddles," and among all of the Johnsons who live in Rock Ridge, there is no Karen listed. Dang.)

Hmm. I've definitely been a MnStf member (death has not released me). I have lived in a building where there was another Karen Johnson, but that doesn't really say anything because there are so many Karen Johnsons around, particularly in Minnesota. I'm not the Karen Johnson connected to Fredcritter (and didn't that name cause a lot of puzzlement when I started attending MnStf meetings!). I've never heard of "slippery Karen" so don't know if there's any association or not. Don't have a clue what the reference to Blazing Saddles means. Oh, and I'm not the Australian fan Karen Johnson. I'm also not the Karen Johnson who took out a loan on a Ford car and tried to dump the missed payments on another Karen Johnson. As you can see, I know a little about many Karen Johnsons; just not necessarily the one(s) you know.

I read this: "she'll be a fine addition to our community" as "she'll be a fine addiction to our community."
