Fair on Thurs?

Anybody up to go to the MN State on Thursday, or even Friday? I like to go early, before everyone's schpeil runs dry. And early in the day: 10am or so, as it will get crowded by early afternoon. Both Thurs and Friday Tonic Sol-Fa is giving a concert in the Bandshell at 11am, and Brave Combo has the 1pm slot. Two great groups. Maybe lunch in the middle.

Plan is to drive to the U parking lot and catch the shuttle. Then start off with All The Milk You Can Drink, though I've done that a lot.

How much is All The Milk You Can Drink these days? I was going around telling people it was a quarter, and my friend Twig had to correct me that it was actually 50c, and that was some years ago.

All the Milk You Can Drink is now up to $1 (http://gopher.mnstatefair.org/foodfinder/details.lasso?id=000025A&keywords=milk&category=), alas, but there are two locations. Still a deal, if you're thirsty. Since I tend to begin and end my Fair Journey at the nearest gate, I've been known to have a couple of chunks of milk, save the cup, (wash it out along the way), and have a last drink just before leaving. A victory for cargo pants!
