New podcast: The Lion Sleeps Tonight
Sep. 7th, 2006 07:52 pmAdded to Shockwave Radio podcasts: broadcast of May 27, 1995, the legendary show where I play seven versions of The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Yes,
chirosinger, even The Guitar by They Might Be Giants. This adds to the available podcasts of my Fringe Festival coverage and our interview with Bridget Bradshaw of
taffbug fame.
I also added this show, along with many others, to the permanent archives on archive.org. David Romm's Bookmarks. Recent additions include an interview with Amy Salloway (author/performer of "Does This Monologue Make Me Look Fat" and "So Kiss Me Already, Herschel Gertz"), Pre-Marscon Dementia, interviews with Douglas Adams and Jim Young, and the bunch of strange shows Brian Westley did while I was in Antarctica.
The server on my host site finally came through with the space upgrade they promised, and I have a staggering amount of web space... when I'm using less and less as I move audio files to archive.org. I'm not worried about traffic (I turned off Hot Linking, hehehehe). I'm good for a long while, but at some point I'll have to make a decision, and I might as well get input now:
Poll of LJ Friend's: Which would you prefer, more podcasts or higher res images in new picture galleries?
