I just finished making and uploading the Podcast of the October 28, 2006CE Shockwave Radio broadcast: The Death of Habeas Corpus and other political commentary. Brian and I meander on about the demise of the hard-won right after 791 years and other topics. I play two cuts from the new Hail To The Thieves III: Songs To Take Our Country Back!, one from the Android Sisters and one from The Prince Myshkins. The two pairs of songs nicely dovetail.

For the next show, perhaps I should have as a guest someone who is watching out for voter irregularities. Suggestions?

He's located far away from you, but if you do interviews by phone you might consider Lawrence Livermore computer scientist David Jefferson (http://www.llnl.gov/casc/people/jefferson/), who verifies the reliability of voting machine software when They let him do it, and denounces it when They don't. I was so impressed by his strong, articulate statements on a panel a couple years ago that I wrote him a fan letter. Here's my report on the panel. (http://calimac.livejournal.com/69282.html)
