New Friends, new userpic
Mar. 13th, 2007 12:29 pmA post-Marscon glomming of Friends collided with the realization that it's been over a year since I changed userpics. Much as I like the previous one (a self-portrait taken in Antarctica), I like this one too. Taken by Rachel R. with my camera at the 2006 Convivial.
I like my little Fuji FinePix S3000. 3.2Megapixels w/6x zoom lens. Decent features, easy navigation. Good enough to take pictures that can be printed 8x10, inexpensive enough that I feel comfortable letting kids use it. More than four years old; ancient by digital camera standards.
And yes, that means I'm working on the Convivial gallery. Short term goal: Be caught up by Minicon. Failing that, at least not fall too far behind. (In the queue: Convivial, Thanksgiving, Corwin Wedding, Pool Party, Marscon.)

Oh... you mean blow up a photo of your nosehairs. Well. I recommend you go outside for lighting and use a tripod. Your neighbors will wonder why you have a nostril pointed at the sun, but they're used to you by now.
