Odd numeric coincidences: #214, 1980

Three DVDs in a row:

Yesterday I watched a DVD, noting that in fourth year of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she moves into college dorm room #214. Just a few years earlier, I had moved into Condo Unit #214. Coincidence?

Two days ago, I was watching the DVD of UFO, a series made in 1970 that takes place in 1980. Today, I'm watching a disc of Lost, and the characters just looked at a film made in 1980. Coincidence?

My condo is nicer than Buffy's dorm room (and has two bathrooms) but gets less lip-locking action. The 1980 of 1970 looks marvelously futuristic and silver, while the 1980 of 2005 looks ancient and shabby. Perhaps all this is Designed To Teach Me A Great Lesson, though I probably won't figure out just what until after the seventh Harry Potter book comes out.

Coincidence?

I am just now responding to your post about coincidences. I am almost 45 years old and in almost 45 minutes it will be almost 15 minutes after 5 o'clock. 45 plus 15 is 60, or i hour, and in 1 hour I will have been done with the post for almost an hour. Coincidences?
